Call for Applications: Report/Interview w Peter Singer & Charles Camosy RU Event

Working with the Humanist Chaplaincy at Rutgers University, Applied Sentience is looking for a qualified Rutgers Undergraduate student to report and write on our upcoming event and interview the two speakers of the event – Peter Singer and Charles Camosy.

The article will cover the discussion between both philosophers held on September 9th and be supplemented by 15 minute 1-on-1 phone interviews with each philosopher afterward.  The article itself will range from 800 to 1400 words discussing, summarizing and commenting on the event and aimed towards a general audience.

Successful applicants will have:

  • Good standing as a current Rutgers University undergraduate student
  • A strong background in academic philosophy
  • Strong writing skills, including both an engaging literary style and academic insight
